A friend once told me, "click on every post that has a word you don't understand in the title." Definitely do this, even if you don't use it you'll gain a lot more knowledge about music production. If tutorials aren't your thing, /r/edmproduction is a good place to start.

There is no single way to learn how to make music, tutorials bored me so I just messed with stuff for a while until it started sounding good. I have my DAW, what do I do? - Mess with stuff. If you can't afford something, either find another option or pirate it WITH THE CONDITION THAT YOU'LL BUY A LEGIT COPY ONCE YOU HAVE THE MONEY.
